How to Bid: This auction utilizes two separate bidding formats: an online pre-bidding phase ahead of the live webcast, and active participation during the live webcast event itself. Online Pre-Bidding Before the live webcast begins, bidders may submit bids directly through the online platform. This gives you the opportunity to establish early bids and potentially secure items before the live auction gets underway. Proxy Bidding Proxy bidding lets you set a maximum bid amount without needing to be present for the live webcast. After your proxy bid is submitted, the platform will automatically bid incrementally on your behalf according to the auctioneer's established bid increments. Placing a proxy bid does not prevent you from also joining the live webcast auction should you wish to participate in real time. Proxy Bidding in Practice: Consider this scenario: Ms. Davis wants to bid on lots 7 and 8 but can't be present for the live event. She logs in beforehand, enters a maximum bid of $100 on each lot, and submits her proxy bids. If another bidder places a $25 bid on lot 7, the proxy system will automatically position Ms. Davis as the high bidder at $50. If no further bids come in, she wins lot 7 at $50. Should a live webcast participant then bid $60, the proxy system will automatically advance Ms. Davis's bid to $70. Our Recommendation: For the best shot at winning, we encourage bidders to set proxy maximums on all lots they're targeting. The system handles the incremental bidding up to your ceiling automatically. You're also welcome to log into the live webcast to follow along and raise your maximum bid if needed. Key Auction Guidelines: Multi-Platform Event: This auction runs simultaneously across several platforms. In the event of a tied bid, the auctioneer may call for a tiebreaker or, if unresolved, award the lot to the quickest bidder.
